GCC this July 2012
ASM @ Malaysia 2012 will be preceded by Private
Corporate & Sponsors ASM Pro-Ams to be staged
over 4 days.
The 7th Giant Charity Pro-am and the 6th
Citi Corporate Golf day will be staged on Fri
13 and Sun 15 July respectively.
Sponsors & Open Pro-Ams will be staged
on Sat - am and Sat - pm
The 7th edition of the annual Giant Corporate
Golf Challenge will be staged at KLGCC
- participation is by invitation only
The 6th edition of the Citi Corporate Pro-Am Golf
Day will be staged at Glemnarie
GCC - participation is by invitation only.
The 2012 ASM @ Malaysia - Amateur Pro-Am Qualifier
- will be staged on Thursday -afternoon
The 2012 ASM @ Malaysia - Amateur "Low Marker"
Qualifier - from a 32 flight shotgun start - will
be staged on Monday - priot to the ASM @ Malaysia Professional
Tournament
The 2012 ASM @ Malaysia Professional Tournament will
be staged on Monday and Tuesday.
The amatuer golfers can be of any gender, and at least
12 years of age, both individual and 3 person Pro-Am team
entries are welcomed. For Malaysia based golfers please follow

Non PGA members & Male Senior Amateur golfers aged
50+ may enter the
ASM @ Malaysia - Asian Seniors PGA Tour Pro Q School
to qualify to become members of the Asian Seniors PGA Tour.
ASM @ Pulai Springs (Johor) 2009 was won by M_Ramayah
- (Malaysia) with 3 under beating new comer Nopajak
Mesom -(Thailand) during the sudden death play off, with
Bill Fung - (Singapore) coming 3rd with 218
ASM @ Malaysia (KL) 2009 was won by M_Ramayah
- (Malaysia) with 10 under, a 4 stroke lead over
the 1st runner up Chan Chin Kuo - (Taiwan) with 6 under,
followed by 2nd runner up Kim Jung Nam - (Korean) playing
under the Seniors PGA the Philippines flag who came 3rd with
4 under.
ASM @ Malaysia (KL) 2008 was won by Sutep_Bunpimuk
- (Thailand) who managed to close and later reversed
local favourite M_Ramayah's
2 stroke lead on the final day to emerge as this year’s
ASM @ Malaysia Champion. Sutep shot 74 on the final
day returning 221 beating the ASM @ Malaysia's leader for
the first 2 days, M Ramayah by 3 strokes who shoot
a final day 79 returning 224. Eduardo_Bagtas
- (Philippines) and Lai_Chung_Hui
- (Taiwan) emerging joint 3rd with 228
ASM @ Malaysia (KL) 2007
was won by Chen_Tsang_Te_-_(Taiwan) who managed a final
round 68, including a birdie on the 18th hole, he beat local
favourite M_Ramayah
playing in the same flight, who also birdied his last hole.
Chen returned an ASM @ Malaysia and an AST record winning
score of 10 under par 206, beating Ramayah by only a single
stroke.
ASM @ Malaysia 2006 was won by defending Champion,
Australian National and Malaysia resident Stewart
Ginn - (Australia) claiming his second ASM @
Malaysia Champion's title after his convincing triumph at
the inaugural ASM @ Malaysia - Palm Resort GCC staged
in 2005
The inaugural ASM @ Malaysia 2005 staged at Palm Resort
GC fielded some 105 senior professional golfers, featuring
some of the world's finest senior professionals, with invitations
extended to many of Asia's and the World’s top players
along with some 600 amateur golfers.

Ginn - (Australia)
The inaugural ASM @ Singapore 2003 staged at Jurong
CC was won by Choi_Yoon_Soo_-_(Korea)
who defeated John_Irwin_-_(Canada)
on the first hole of a sudden death play-off, sinking a 3
metre putt for a birdie on the 18th hole par 5 to clinch the
inaugural ASM tournament.
Tied for 3rd place were 1st round leader Terry
Gale - (Australia), the 2nd round leader Tienie
Britz - (South Africa) and John
Benda - (USA) and they were followed in 6th place
at 2 under by Mike
Ferguson - (Australia) Kuo
Chie-Hsiung - (Taiwan) and Mario
Siodina - (Philippines)
Since its humble beginning, in 2003 the Asian Senior Tour
have and continue to stage events in Taiwan,
Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia
and Thailand.
From the 75 foundation members at the
ASM @ Singapore 2003 the AST now has representatives
from over 28 countries.
The ASM event format allows many of Malaysia's,
Singapore’s and the Asian region’s leading amateur
golfers to compete in the ASM Amateur Finals, playing
alongside senior professional golfers in the first 2 days
of the ASM Professional tournament.
Asian Senior Master events showcase a mixture of some of
the best senior professional golfers from Australia, Europe,
South Africa and Asia .
The the top 9 amateur golfers from each Pro-Am staged
secure places along side sponsor's exemptions in the Amateur
Semi-Finals to be staged during the first 2 days of the
ASM Professional Tournament with the top 6 amateur
golfers going on to contest the Amateur Finals on
the final day of the ASM Professional tournament

The "Senior Master's" theme aptly reflects
what ASM events have to offer, up to 120 top caliber senior
golfing professionals, each having played the game for over
30 years with 100's of international victories among them.
