The Lions Organisation is a non-profit voluntary group involved in providing assistance to the sick, the needy and the less fortunate in society.
Our Club, The Lions Club of Singapore Arcadia, is organising a Charity Golf Tournament with the intention of raising funds for The Lions Home For The Elders. The two Homes, located in Bedok South Avenue 2 and Toa Payoh Rise respectively, caters to a total of 354 aged residents in need of nursing care. The net proceeds from this Charity Golf Tournament will be donated to the Homes.
The Charity Golf Tournament was held on 25th June 2004 at Orchid Country Club. It was a charity golf tournament different from the rest, with an afternoon of fun and fellowship with various novelty events that made this charity golf tournament one that will be fondly remembered of by one and all by the 80 over golfers.
